2026–2027 School Year
St. John's Catholic School is accepting applications for teaching positions for the 2026–2027 school year. Grade level assignments will be determined based on school needs and applicant qualifications.
We are seeking educators who are passionate about inspiring students academically, spiritually, and personally within a Christ-centered learning environment.
The ideal candidates will support the mission of Catholic education by integrating faith, values, and moral development into daily instruction while fostering a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards
Create a safe, supportive, and faith-filled classroom environment
Promote Catholic values and model Christian behavior
Support the academic, spiritual, emotional, and social growth of students
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff
Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives
Participate in school Masses, prayer services, professional development, and school activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Arkansas teaching license preferred
Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Catholic education
Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience
Practicing Catholic preferred, but all qualified candidates supportive of the Catholic mission are encouraged to apply
Experience working in faith-based educational settings
