TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN (TK) TEACHER
FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Ecole Notre Dame des Victoires (NDV), a Catholic elementary school (Transitional Kindergarten - Grade 8) located in downtown San Francisco, seeks a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time position and is eligible for benefits.
Job Description:
NDV is seeking an experienced early childhood teacher to work collaboratively as a team in an established TK program. The candidate will work closely with the current TK teacher and will be responsible for teaching 4 year old students in a shared classroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about engaging, motivating and working with students of this young age and can differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles.
Qualifications/Requirements:
● Must have a BA and a valid California teaching credential
● 3+ years of relevant classroom experience preferred
● Expertise in early childhood education
● Understanding of the developmental needs of children at this age and how they learn best
● Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning profiles
● Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
● History of collegiality and collaboration with other teachers and administrators
● A practicing Catholic
School-wide Responsibilities:
● Attend weekly faculty meetings
● Plan, organize and co-lead field trips
● Perform duties such as yard and lunchroom supervision
● Attend all school masses
● Participate in professional development workshops
● Perform adjunct responsibilities
● Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: Compensation commensurate with the Archdiocese of San Francisco Elementary Annual Salary Scale: $54,500 to $104,931 plus benefits (Advanced education & certifications not included) + competitive benefits
