Cristo Rey Dallas College Preparatory High School, located in Dallas, Texas is a member of the national Cristo Rey Network. Member schools use a rigorous academic model, supported by best practices in instruction and assessment, to prepare students with a broad range of intellectual abilities for college and life. Further, Cristo Rey schools employ an innovative Corporate Work Study Program that provides students with real world work experience. In this highly unique model, every student works an average of four days a month to fund the majority of their schooling, gain job experience, grow in self-confidence, and realize the relevance of this education. Students work in various corporate and business settings including law firms, banks, commercial real estate firms, hospitals, universities and with other professional organizations.

Cristo Rey Dallas is a college preparatory high school for students of all faiths from families of limited financial means. The school is co-educational and serves students of diverse backgrounds. We help our students grow intellectually, academically, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and morally. Our aspiration is that all our students graduate from high school and college, and become leaders in their communities and careers.

Who We Seek:
The Vice President, Corporate Work Study leads all aspects of the Corporate Work Study Program for Cristo Rey Dallas and will have primary accountability for Corporate Work Study team leadership, program oversight, job sales and renewals, operations, legal compliance and executing all related program elements. This includes cultivating and stewarding Job Partner relationships to achieve full and meaningful employment for all students. Viable candidates are skilled leaders who also share our passion for the Cristo Rey mission. Salary is commensurate with experience. Target Qualifications

● As a member of the school’s leadership team, the Vice President, Corporate Work Study will report directly to the school’s president and will demonstrate the maturity and skill required to work closely with the Chief Academic Officer for the school’s administration and communications with faculty, staff and the student body.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including proven ability to engage and inspire a wide range of partners, build creative and mutually beneficial relationships within the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
● Executive presence to inspire organizational and professional confidence, passion and persistence in an ambitious, fast-paced, and results-oriented team, all while maintaining a positive work environment.
● Unquestionable integrity and ethical behavior that creates trust among the school’s stakeholders.
● Results driven approach and strong problem solver with a demonstrable history of successful innovative solutions.
● 5 or more years of proven success with lead generation and securing corporate sales, fundraising or sponsorships.
● 3 or more years’ management experience leading sales teams.
● Working with the school’s board and various committees, optimize volunteer leadership engagement in achieving sales and fundraising goals.
● Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including evidence of enhancing program growth and innovation.
● Evidence of operational processes experience, with 3 or more years leading teams with full or partial operational functions.
● Ability to develop and coach a high-performance team Corporate Work Study team and work with other departments within the diverse culture of an academic institution.
● A Bachelor’s degree.
