What experiences at your undergraduate institution helped shape your decision to pursue teaching as a possible vocation?
My incredible professors and the amazing English and Education classes I've taken during my time at Villanova have encouraged and lead me to ACE! The value of Education and the mission to educate the whole person, mind, body, and spirit are so palpable on both campuses, this ACE program and education as a whole felt like a home to me. Similarly, with the help and mentorship of some of the incredible Augustinians on Villanova's campus and our Campus Ministry Office, I have been able to really understand and feel this calling to education for my life and could not be more grateful or excited!
What do you hope to do/accomplish as an ACE teacher?
As an ACE teacher, I am so excited for the opportunity to engage fully and joyfully with a school and community, to work in service and community, and to continue to explore this calling and mission of Catholic Education for my life!
How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Ambassador?
As an ACE Ambassador, I am excited to form new and meaningful connections with individuals and organizations on my own campus as well as leaning into and getting excited for this new role as an ACE teacher! I hope to convey the same love, passion, and mission to prospective ACE applicants as was shared with me in my own process and discernment of ACE!
