Emily Curtis is an Associate Program Director for ACE Teaching Fellows, advancing formation efforts for teachers in Northern California, Indianapolis, Twin Cities, Chicago, and Miami.
While completing her master of education degree through the University of Notre Dame as a member of ACE 29, Emily taught and coached at Our Lady of Tepeyac High School in the Chicago, Illinois, area. She served 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students through AP Literature and Composition, various American Literature courses, a World Literature, and a Sophomore Advisory / Leadership course. In addition to her role as a member of the English faculty, Emily served as the JV and Varsity volleyball coach, JV and Varsity soccer coach, moderator of NHS, and leader of Kairos retreats.
A graduate of Villanova University, Emily double majored in English and Communication. Emily was a 4-year varsity student-athlete who played for Villanova's Women's Volleyball Team and served as a member of the SAAC Leadership Team. She is originally from Los Altos, CA.
