Kristi Lax-Walker

Kristian Lax-Walker is a Pre-Health Advisor in the College of Science at Notre Dame and holds the rank of Associate Advising Faculty. Kristi serves as a graduate research assistant for the ACE Ascent Program, and is a doctoral student at Kansas State University in the College of Education. Kristi earned her M.S. in academic advising from Kansas State as well. Her research interests include issues in academic advising and higher education, the impact of advising on college student persistence in STEM majors, and advisor burnout and well-being. She is also interested in how social networks and professional communities impact these areas. Kristi is originally from South Bend, Indiana.
