Mary Rice serves as the Associate Program Manager for Educational Access through the Program for Educational Access. In this role, she focuses on the recruitment, selection, and formation of members of the Reform Leaders’ Summit (RLS), a fellowship designed to educate and connect school choice leaders. Her work extends to the Frassati internship program where she serves to recruit, mentor, and support members of the internship as they advance Catholic education across the country.
During her time in ACE Teaching Fellows, Mary taught middle school English and history at St. Cletus School in New Orleans, Louisiana. After ACE, Mary moved back to South Bend and taught ELA, religion, and culinary arts at St. Joseph Grade School. She is also a completer of the Reform Leaders' Summit program as a member of RLS 17.
Mary is originally from South Bend, and she is a 2023 graduate of Notre Dame where she majored in the Program of Liberal Studies and Theology. As an undergraduate student, Mary was involved in her dorm community at Badin Hall, eventually serving as a resident assistant (RA). She also served as an ACE intern her senior year.
