Dr. Meghan Dougherty Kuehnle is a faculty member and clinical supervisor with ACE Teaching Fellows. She teaches courses on English Language Arts and Middle School Methods and supervises four ACE communities.

Meghan's research focuses on literacy education, including writing instruction and poetry pedagogy. Her current research studies how teachers experience ambiguity and in their classrooms, exploring how poetry might serve as a site of ambiguity for teachers and students alike to practice navigating uncertainty. Her other research interests include children's and young adult literature, pre-service teacher education, and narrative theory.

Meghan earned her undergraduate degree in English and Economics at Boston College before joining the ACE Teaching Fellows, teaching English Language Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida. She earned her Ph.D. at The Ohio State University, where she taught and supervised pre-service English Language Arts teachers.
