Rob Ackerman

Rob Ackerman is the Associate Director of the ACE Principal Academy. Prior to working for ACE, he had the privilege of teaching theology at Maȟpíya Lúta Owáyawa (Red Cloud School) in Pine Ridge, SD. He loved working and learning among the Lakota people and in educating future Lakota leaders. He is originally from Boston, MA and is one of three brothers. He attended Holy Cross College and graduated in 2017 with a BA in Psychology and Philosophy. After completing his undergraduate degree he earned a Masters of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame in 2021. Upon completing his M.Div he was a Campus Minister and Theology Teacher at Mount Alvernia High School in Newton, MA. Rob is married to his wife Katie (a South Bend native) and they have a daughter, Anastasia. In his free time Rob enjoys rooting for the Red Sox, fishing, hunting, baking, cross-stitching, reading and discussing theology and philosophy.
