Troy Kassien serves as Associate Program Director for ACE Teaching Fellows. He supports the formation of teachers in Charleston, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Milwaukee.
Troy earned his B.A. in theology and philosophy from Loyola Marymount University and M.A. and M.T.S. degrees in theology from the University of Notre Dame. While earning his M.A. through the Echo Program of the McGrath Institute for Church Life, he taught sophomores and juniors at Scecina Memorial High School. His experience in Catholic education, paired with the lasting influence of excellent teachers and mentors in his own
life, continues to shape his commitment to supporting those who serve in Catholic schools.
Prior to joining ACE, Troy served as Program Coordinator for Fons Vitae at Duke University, where he helped develop programs that integrated the Catholic intellectual tradition into the wider life of the university.
Originally from Southern California, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, cheering for the Fighting Irish on Saturdays in the fall, and playing golf on cool summer afternoons.
