When Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and blended learning come together in practice, they create powerful opportunities to meet the diverse needs of every student—including those with learning disabilities and other special needs. This session moves beyond theory to offer practical strategies and real-world examples of how educators can implement both frameworks side by side. We’ll explore how flexible modalities, self-paced structures, and intentional design can help all students access grade-level content meaningfully. The session will remain flexible and responsive to participants’ questions and contexts, with space to explore topics like the role of educational technology, including AI, as one of many tools that can help differentiate and support learners effectively.
