Director of Development - Catholic Partnership Schools

Catholic Partnership Schools
Camden, NJ
Other Education and Non-Profit Positions

A nationally recognized network of five Pre-K-8 Catholic schools, CPS serves approximately 900 students across some of Camden's most underserved neighborhoods. With a solid foundation in place, including a talented and dedicated faculty, mission-aligned governance, and a generous community of supporters, CPS is poised to deepen its impact as a model for urban Catholic education.

Founded in 2008 and established as an independent nonprofit in 2010, Catholic Partnership Schools was created to preserve and revitalize Catholic education in Camden. By uniting five parish schools under a centralized governance and support structure, CPS has built a sustainable model that emphasizes academic excellence, operational efficiency, and holistic student development. Over the past decade, the organization has expanded its offerings to include dual-language instruction, robust after-school programs, and community partnerships that enrich the student experience. Today, CPS stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity, committed to transforming lives through education rooted in faith and equity.

CPS seeks a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Development to lead its advancement efforts and steward the organization’s growing base of philanthropic support. Reporting to the Executive Director, working closely with the Board of Directors, and serving as a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Development will design and implement a comprehensive philanthropic program that includes major gifts, annual giving, community, corporate and foundation partnerships, and special events. The ideal candidate will bring a deep commitment to educational equity, a talent for storytelling, and a proven record of accomplishment of cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors. The Director of Development also serves as the leader and manager of four employees in the Development Office. This is a remarkable opportunity to help shape the future of Catholic education in Camden by ensuring the financial sustainability and continued growth of a mission-driven and innovative organization.
