St. Matthew School, located at 795 Havens Corners Road in Gahanna, is seeking an Intervention Coordinator for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate, write, and update Accommodation Plans (AP) for K-8 students, including meeting scheduling, documentation, and distribution to relevant staff and parents.
Maintain accurate records and file organization.
Oversee the RTI process, collaborating with teachers on data collection, intervention effectiveness, and referrals for Tier 2/3 interventions.
Serve as the primary contact for district RTI, ETR, and IEP processes, coordinating meetings, data collection, and communication with Gahanna school psychologists and parents, representing the school in IEP meetings and providing follow-up communication and support.
Plan and lead monthly meetings for SPED staff, providing topics and Q&A sessions.
Collaborate with teachers to provide support and coaching on interventions and resources, including "Possible Intervention Resources."
Serve as the main contact for the Intervention Team and facilitate communication with administrators and staff.
Track and support "On Watch" students, monitor Intervention Specialists, and assist with caseloads and scheduling.
Help coordinate EL services and assessments with Gahanna for OELPA testing.
Requirements:
Hold an appropriate Ohio teaching license (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
Worked as an Intervention Specialist for a minimum of 5 years.
Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
