Position Overview
The Middle School Math Teacher is responsible for teaching mathematics to students in grades 6–8. This role is essential in fostering a love for math and demonstrating how it enhances the human experience. The ideal candidate will form strong, positive relationships with students and work collaboratively with colleagues as part of the STEM team.

Faculty members are expected to:

Plan and deliver instruction based on the Diocese of Raleigh curriculum standards.

Participate in school life through meetings, committees, communication with parents, and other professional responsibilities.

Embrace co-planning and creativity as part of a collaborative middle school team.

Key Responsibilities
Embrace and implement the mission, philosophy, and goals of Immaculata Catholic School.

Deliver engaging, grade-appropriate math instruction (grades 6–8).

Organize and lead homeroom activities for one middle school homeroom.

Plan and support both curricular and extracurricular student experiences, including electives.

Create a positive, growth-oriented classroom environment.

Assess student learning and adapt instruction to support diverse needs.

Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive K–8 curriculum.

Perform additional duties as needed in partnership with the middle school team and administration.

Minimum Requirements
Employment is contingent upon satisfactory criminal background and reference checks.

Must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 60 days of hire.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience: 0–2 years of related experience in teaching mathematics or a related field.
