Bishop Rosecrans Catholic High School, located at 1040 E. Main Street in Zanesville, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and faith-filled leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2025. Bishop Rosecrans is a diocesan high school serving grades 9 through 12 that works in close partnership with the neighboring Bishop Fenwick Catholic School, serving grades Kindergarten through 8.
The mission of Bishop Rosecrans Catholic High School is to build a community in which all can live and grow in faith, scholarship, and service following the teaching of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. As a Catholic community, our purpose is to form our community to know, love, and serve the Lord as missionary disciples of Christ. Through the experience of their education, students will be challenged to grow in their commitment to God and Church, to family and community, and to each other. The faculty, staff, students and parents work together to inspire learning, leadership, and service.
The school is seeking a Principal who is an active, practicing Catholic and a proven leader, capable of helping us grow in our mission of evangelization and excellence in education. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online principal application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.
