Carissa Maddox

As a Coordinator of Adult Formation and Leadership Development, Carissa works collaboratively across the NDAA network with regional directors, school principals, and teachers to develop high functioning leadership teams. Her focus is on building the capacity of local leaders to develop the potential in people and processes for the purpose of school revitalization. 

In August 2023, Carissa will earn a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership from the University of Dayton. Her research focuses on the process of making collective commitments to enact change within cycles of iterative improvement in the context of school turnaround. Previously, Carissa served as a principal, assistant principal, and teacher in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for fifteen years.
