"An Exciting and Fearsome Tool"

Generative AI is transforming how we teach and learn: offering new opportunities for personalization, efficiency, and creativity. But alongside the promise comes complexity. As Catholic educators, we respond not with fear or uncritical enthusiasm, but with cautious optimism, discerning what is gained, what is lost, and what must be preserved. This site offers AI policy guidance, curated tool recommendations, and professional development resources designed to help Catholic school leaders and educators navigate this evolving landscape with wisdom, clarity, and mission-centered purpose.

Catholic AI Literacy Materials Challenge

Join the Challenge

How are you teaching students about AI? Higher-Powered Learning (HPL) invites Catholic educators to share their innovative materials as part of our Catholic AI Literacy Materials Challenge. AI literacy represents the technical knowledge, durable skills, and future-ready attitudes required to thrive in a world influenced by AI (EC and OECD, 2025).

We are seeking instructional materials that explicitly teach students about artificial intelligence, its ethical implications, and its intersection with Catholic formation. Whether it is a quick 10-minute AI mini-lesson or a multi-day project, your contribution helps build a shared library of resources for the Catholic school community.
