2020 Lenten Reflections - Ash Wednesday

"But when you fast,
anoint your head and wash your face,
so that you may not appear to be fasting,
except to your Father who is hidden.
And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you."

Lord, as we begin these 40 days of Lent,
help us keep our minds and hearts focused on what is most important:
serving You for Your good and glory,
and not for the acclaim of others.
