Thank you for your interest in becoming an Inclusive Educator! The 2018-19 application for the 18-credit hour licensure preparation program will be available on October 1, 2017. Applications will continue to be accepted until May 1, 2018.
A completed application package will include the following:
- online application
- teacher license
- current photo
- principal recommendation
- needs-based scholarship request (if applicable)
All enrollment and needs-based scholarship decisions will be made by April 1, 2018. Selected PIE candidates will have until May 1, 2018 to accept or decline participation. In the event the cohort has not been filled by these deadlines, educators on the waitlist will be invited to participate. PIE seeks to have a cohort between 25 and 30 participants.
Tuition and Cost Structure
The total cost of the PIE Program is $10,500. PIE is aware of the financial sacrifice for participation and we want to make programming accessible to as many Catholic educators as possible. To further this mission, we have been blessed with the ability to award every participant a $2,000 Inclusive Educator Scholarship. This scholarship is in addition to the needs-based financial support included in the application. Please note that applying for additional needs-based funding does not guarantee additional support; however, PIE will do everything possible to assist with this financial commitment. Beyond the Inclusive Educator and needs-based scholarships, Title funding at the school/diocesan levels can be used for participation.
For questions regarding the application process, please contact Associate Director Lindsay Will, M.Ed, at 574-631-7158 or . We look forward to welcoming PIE Cohort 1 in the summer of 2017. Please consider joining us on this journey!
