What are you most looking forward to most as an ACE teacher this year?

What excites me most is getting to know my students and understanding what motivates and inspires each of them. Every child learns differently, I strive to build genuine connections that go beyond the classroom, athletics, in the hallways, and in the countless everyday interactions that make school meaningful. My greatest hope is to make a lasting difference in their lives while allowing them to leave an equally meaningful impact on mine.

Why did you say "yes" to serving as a Catholic school educator through ACE Teaching Fellows?

I said yes to ACE because God called me to become a teacher. The ACE program provides me an opportunity to learn from the best of the best. To become the teacher that the kids in Charleston deserve.

How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Teacher?

I hope to grow in my experience as an ACE Teacher through inspiring others to have a passion for both learning and Christ, while also embracing the growth that can occur when feeling uncomfortable.

Why did you say "yes" to serving as a Catholic school educator through ACE Teaching Fellows?

I said "yes" to serving as a Catholic school educator through ACE Teaching Fellows because I wanted to contribute to the small miracles of everyday life. A part of ACE's mission is to not only educate the minds of our students, but their hearts as well.
