Welcome to the 614! Columbus stands as a true mystery to all who dare to enter its boundaries (especially since we’re a new community). CBUS, as it is affectionately known, is the fastest growing city and fourteenth largest city in the United States (not to flex). Known for its vibrant food scene, access to national and state parks, and THE Ohio State University, Columbus is a wonderful place to call home. We are grateful to be the first ACE teachers in Columbus and can’t wait to board the CBUS.

What are you most looking forward to most as an ACE teacher this year?
I am most looking forward to my new family—AKA my Columbus community! There is something so intimate in learning something new alongside others; struggling together, sharing meals together, serving together are all means that Christ shared through which we can love one another. Also, it helps that they love to be goofy and laugh with me. There is nothing like an exchange of good bits to unwind from a long day.
